SERENITY IS THE NEW LUXURY…

If done correctly, interior design is luxurious, cohesive & 100% livable. It should bring a sense of serenity in your daily life, supporting where you are now and where you are going. After all, your home is a timeless reflection of who you are, your interests, values, and way of life.

My approach to curating a home is to infuse artistic thinking, creativity, and visual poetry. No two homes should be alike, that said, I do not follow a cookie-cutter approach to dècor.

Your home is truly a work of art and seat of your success. My dedicated focus and well of creativity are at your service to manifest your dream home into a reality.

Christina DiStefano

Founder & Designer Casa Serenità Interiors

Christina DiStefano is a New York City-based interior designer and interdisciplinary artist working in painting, performance, video, digital art, and installation. Through an intense physicality of creation, DiStefano paints over the canvas on the floor, utilizing the body as a vessel to transcend through movement and energy, ultimately manifesting itself into a physical, visual language. This is the primary basis of creation for her work, in which she then re-purposes her large-scale paintings into video and digital collages. Themes of wisdom passed through lineage, past lives, parallel universes, and questioning personal identity influence her work.

The same can be said for the way she curates living spaces. Placing an importance of personal and family history, combined with an affinity for beauty and well made objects, Christina taps into her intuitive artistic sensitivity to design spaces that transcend time. Christina takes time to understand her clients and has the ability to transform their vision into a beautiful reality.

DiStefano received a BA Degree with a concentration in Studio Art from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2005. Shortly after she arrived in New York City, she founded Anti-Oxidant BK, a monthly video art salon in Bushwick, Brooklyn, from 2007 through 2009. Additionally, DiStefano is a certified Yoga Alliance Instructor & Reiki Master, which strongly influences the movement of her body in creating her work and the ability to connect with her clients.
