I’m just a gal who has known many people from each sign, know their personal style and their personality. I like people so I’m always curious about others—why they think the way they do, why they default to certain styles, their story, etc.

Wabi Sabi is a way of life. This Japanese philosophy focuses on accepting things as they are and embracing history. It’s about finding the beauty in ourselves and others while celebrating the richness of life and nature, reminding us that life is short but sweet.

Often we have a difficult time making decisions when it comes to decorating and furnishing our homes because we like many things, but just because we like style, décor, or furniture pieces, it doesn’t mean that they’re right for the way we want to live.

What is Casa Serenita? To fully understand the name behind the brand, we must start at the beginning. My husband Jerry and I have lived in NYC for a long time (he’s a native New Yorker, and I’ve been here almost 17 years!).
